Meet Our Founder & Instructor
Extensive Academic and Industry Expertise
Dr. Haber, the visionary behind Cybernetics STEM Academy, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the world of STEM education and mentorship. Dr. Haber was a full-time professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology and City University of New York. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Northwestern University. He holds a Ph.D. Degree in Control Systems/Control Engineering from the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. Dr. Haber was also a Principal Engineer and performed consulting activities for several aerospace companies. Dr. Haber was a Principal Investigator on NASA and the Department of Defense (DoD) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants. Dr. Haber published more than 40 research publications in top engineering journals and conferences and has a significant number of citations. His Google Scholar page is given here.
His unique blend of academic and industry experience, coupled with his rich background in teaching and mentoring undergraduates, graduates and high school students for more than 15 years, endows him with profound insights into the expectations of higher education institutions for their students.
