We organize a weekend robotics boot camp in Orange County and Los Angeles. The boot camp is organized according to the student’s previous knowledge and interests. During this boot camp you will build your own robot and you will equip this robot with advanced sensors such as lidars, camera, obstacle avoidance systems, etc. You will implement advanced control engineering, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms that will give the robot autonomy and ability to make independent intelligent decisions.
Boot camp 1: Elementary robotics and computer vision by using Arduino & Raspberry Pi
You will learn the following topics
- Basics of Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
- Basics of motors, actuators, and sensors
- Basics of Robot Operating System (ROS)
- ROS-Arduino-Raspberry Pi interface
- Basics of computer vision in Python/C++
- Build your own mobile robot by using motors, wheels, sensors, batteries, etc.
- Equip the robot with obstacle avoidance ability by using lidar and a camera
- Implement control algorithms and visualize the robot’s motion on your computer
